Isabel Nunes, was born in Parede, Cascais. She graduated in History, in the field of Art History, at the New University of Lisbon and, between 1991 and 1993, she attended the Painting Course at the Visual Arts Academy of Macao, after years of practising free painting. She attended the International School of Art, Montecastello di Vibio, Italy and the Painting Master Class at the University College of London, Slade School of Fine Art, London, United Kingdom.
